Sci-fi Project:
The sci-fi project was a short term project. Even though it was a short term project our stories were really though out. There was only a few things that we were all suppose to have. This was that we had to have science inculded which sounds pretty obvious when you are writing a sci-fi short story. With writng science you had to do a lot of research just to make sure everything makes sense.

Reflection:
The first thought of sci-fi is lizard people, and of course that's what I wanted to write about. Of course there had to be another planet where the lizard people came from. I felt like I knew where I wanted my story to go, but half way writing it I felt very lost. I ended the story and started from the start. Then I just changed it to the second thing to come into my mind(astral projection). I think the fun thing about this project was creating a story of anything you want. The hardest thing is researching what your doing and making sure it makes sense. Not only that, that it is also very believable. I think something that this project helped my out with for the next time writing a story is, planning. One other thing is looking at other stories that were successful in the topic you want to write about.
"Four weeks later...":
Something I wish that I have done differently is had someone read my draft one more time. I have seen that if you have someone read over your draft many times it tends to get better. Don't get me wrong I think my final draft came out very well but there is always room for improvement.
I want to remember the next time I write is to have a open mind, I just need to get my ideas out and clean it up later. That was very hard this project but I feel like in the end I really pushed past that. That's what makes my story so unique.
